Tottenham ace Lucas Moura relives famous Ajax hat-trick

Tottenham ace Lucas Moura admits he still can't describe how he felt after his hat-trick in their famous Champions League semifinal defeat of Ajax.

The Brazilian's goals, all coming in the second half of the second leg in Amsterdam, saw Mauricio Pochettino's side complete a remarkable turnaround as they fought back from 3-0 down on aggregate to reach the final on away goals.

“[For the first goal] when I took the ball, I saw just the goalkeeper in front of me and I needed just to choose one side and shoot," he said in a video on the club's Instagram page. “It was ten minutes into the second half, the perfect time to score the first goal and it gave us a new motivation.

"The second goal] was the most difficult goal because there were a lot of people in front of me, a lot of people in the box and the goal was behind me. I needed to dribble fast and turn my body to finish so it was very difficult.

“I thought that Fernando [Llorente] would score but the keeper made a good save. I was there, I took the ball and dribbled and it's impossible to explain to you."

The Dutch side were clinging on and Spurs looked to have missed their golden chance when Jan Vertonghen headed against the crossbar late on, but Lucas fired home on the break in the sixth minute of added time to spark wild scenes.

He added: “I just said: 'It's the last chance, the last opportunity, the last minute, the last second. I will be here, close to the box, and if I see the ball I will finish, I will shoot. I don't care if I shoot into the ground, I don't care if I shoot into the defender, my teammate.'

“When I saw the ball I finished with my left-foot and I cannot explain to you the feeling. I didn't know how to celebrate, what to do. I jumped, I slid."
