Tottenham star Gareth Bale has declared Real Madrid star Cristiano Ronaldo the best player in the world.

The Portuguese striker netted yet another hat-trick for Real Madrid.

The Tottenham winger tweeted: "Another hat-trick for Ronaldo! I think he's the best all round player in the world right now #ballondor2013 :p" after Jose Mourinho's side eased to a 4-0 victory in the second leg of their fifth round Copa Del Rey tie against Celta Vigo.

Three from the Portugal captain, and a late goal from German midfielder Sami Khedira, ensured the La Liga champions progressed with a 5-2 aggregate win.
