Tottenham Hotspur young gun Dele Alli is facing suspension after has charged by the FA for violent conduct.
The 20-year-old midfielder allegedly punched Claudio Yacob in an off-the-ball incident during his side's 1-1 draw with West Bromwich Albion on Monday night.
The incident was not seen by referee Mike Jones at the time but has since been picked up by the FA who have opted to take action against the PFA Young Player of the Year.
Alli faces a three-game ban if found guilty by an independent panel who have to deem whether or not the offence was enough to have the player sent off.
If so, he will miss the rest of the season as Tottenham continue to chase the Premier League title.
Alli has until 6pm Wednesday to respond to the charges.
