Chelsea picked up a Fair Play award on Saturday.

And within an hour saw Fernando Torres sent off for a terrible lunge on Swansea winger Mark Gower!

The Blues were presented with the gong before kick-off by FA chief Dave Richards.

Chelsea topped last season's Fair Play table thanks to their excellent disciplinary record. They racked up just one red card in the Premier League when Michael Essien was dismissed against Fulham.

Richards said: "The Premier League attaches a great deal of importance to fair play and we congratulate Chelsea in their achievement."
