Liverpool ace Fernando Torres admits he was forced to quit Atletico Madrid in the summer due to the pressure of expectation swirling around him.
The striker told AS: "I needed to lift the stress off me that I had in Madrid. Every single thing that happened was my fault or when things went well, it was only because of me. It was a problem."
He added: "Now it's surprising to see so many English fans wearing my shirt."
Former Atletico star Paulo Futre chimed in: "He's selling more Liverpool shirts than Steven Gerrard!"
