Manchester City are moving for Flamengo left-back Caio Roque.

Bola VIP reports Roque, 18, is said to be close to sealing a transfer to the City Football Group.

City have already signed young Brazilian Yan Couto, and are looking to sign his U17 international teammate Diego Rosa.

And while Roque was not part of the U17 World Cup-winning squad, he has a Brazilian U17 title to his name and is highly rated at Flamengo.

Now a deal of €5m is close to being agreed for Roque to join new CFG side Lommel, with Flamengo negotiating a sell-on clause should he be sold to City or another clubs in the future.

The arrival of Domenec Torrent as new Flamengo manager will apparently see a more formal partnership struck up between the club and the CFG.
