Toronto FC are exploring the prospect of Sebastian Giovinco immediately joining them.
The Juventus midfielder, off contract in June, has already agreed a five-year deal with the Canadian MLS franchise.
However, rather than move to Toronto in June, club officials are keen to add him to their squad next week.
