However, Calciomercato claims the 21-year-old defender is also wanted by Torino in Italy.

Silkeborg said on November 4 that he can leave his club in January, which many speculated to mean West Ham had secured a deal.

But the interest of Torino means there may still be a battle to secure the player's signature.

The Dane is highly rated in Europe and would provide squad depth in defence for Moyes at West Ham.
