Dennis Praet has admitted he endured a "difficult" period with Leicester City.

The Belgian was loaned out by Leicester to Torino on deadline day after struggling for playing time at King Power.

After scoring for Belgium this week, Praet is pleased to have moved on from the Foxes.

"I am obviously happy to have scored," Praet said. "It was not an easy game and the most important thing was to secure the victory. The goal is the icing on the cake.

"It feels good after a difficult period where I hadn't played a lot. I was happy to be able to play and to have been able to score that goal."
