Torino have sacked coach Walter Mazzarri.

Mazzarri was axed after Toro's 4-0 thrashing by Lecce on Sunday.

The result has Torino sitting 12th on the Serie A table, 11 points clear of the dropzone.

TMW says Moreno Longo is expected to be appointed as Mazzarri's successor.

The former Frosinone and Pro Vercelli coach came through the youth system at Toro, managing 31 games before moving onto Lucchese.
