Torino are moving to burn off Southampton's interest in Josip Brekalo.

The young midfielder is on-loan at Toro from VfL Wolfsburg and Tuttosport says they're now bringing forward plans to sign Brekalo permanently.

It's suggested Toro have paid €11m to buy Brekalo, though nothing is yet confirmed.

The youngster is also a target for Southampton, which have made an attempt to get inbetween Toro and Wolfsburg.
