Torino coach Walter Mazzarri will not be on the bench for Monday's game with Cagliari.

There's been reports Mazzarri was taken to hospital in Turin on Friday night.

A statement from Torino confirmed Mazzarri had recovered quickly, but has been signed off work by the club's medical staff “as a precaution until further tests can be completed."

Mazzarri therefore will not be on the bench when Toro travel to Cagliari on Monday evening.
