Torino coach Walter Mazzarri unhappy despite thumping Sampdoria

Torino coach Walter Mazzarri was unimpressed by their 4-1 win over Sampdoria.

Andrea Belotti with a brace, Iago Falque and Armando Izzo were Toro's goalscorers.

“We were more clinical in attack than on previous occasions and are slowly forming a group with the right movements, improving on our approach compared to the games against Bologna and Fiorentina," said Mazzarri.

“We were more fluid in our attacking movements, but we must remember that we've done nothing yet and have to do even better next week. I want to see this concentration level all the time.

“I want to tell this team that we've got to keep improving, not rest on our laurels. Samp created dangers for us today largely thanks to our own superficiality in midfield."

Belotti hadn't found the net in five games, while the last time he scored two goals was seven months ago.

“When you arrive at this level, the pressure grows," continued Mazzarri. “I've worked with Giampaolo Pazzini, then Edinson Cavani. I know you need patience, because the goal comes when you least expect it, so just keep helping the team and it'll happen.

“Belotti has goals in the blood, I'm glad he's broken the ice and am convinced he'll keep doing better this season."
