Torino coach Sinisa Mihajlovic has confirmed Maxi Lopez was dropped for defeat to Bologna as he is overweight.

Toro lost 2-0 to Bologna through a brace from Blerim Dzemaili.

“We've been trying for months to get Maxi Lopez to lose weight," the Coach told Rai Sport.

“If a player wants to be in my team, he has to respect the rules. Until he can do that, he will not be called up.

“We played in a very predictable manner today. We always want to win, but we're a team with strengths and weaknesses, good at attacking and less so when it comes to controlling a situation.

“We tend to concede a goal and get stuck. We know it's a defect and have to work on it. We cannot always attack full throttle, there are times in a game when you have to soak up pressure, otherwise we concede too easily."
