Torino coach Nicola admits (some) frustration after Fiorentina draw

Torino coach Davide Nicola was left frustrated after last night's 1-1 draw with Fiorentina.

Torino picked up a point as Andrea Belotti equalised in the 88th minute, but had played with two more for 20 minutes, plus seven minutes of stoppages.

“The game was broken up for a long time and we didn't play anymore," Nicola said. “We didn't win. We always try to win but we have to be lucid and aware, I have seen a performance from lads who have tried.

“We can't be satisfied, there are things to improve and I have clearly said that it's a long way. When you struggle to keep your head, it doesn't go hand in hand with the body and you make mistakes."

But he did add: “I look at the reaction and the seven chances created against three by Fiorentina. They didn't put us in much difficulty, they have a precious path behind them, and they have been together for longer.

“We are aware that there's the need to improve our timing and in the management of emotions. Potentially, we can do much more, but I have seen the attitude."
