Torino coach Walter Mazzarri says he's to blame for their 2-1 defeat to SPAL.
It was 1-1 when Gleison Bremer was sent off on 55 minutes, but Mazzarri chose to send on Simone Zaza and they were caught out by an Andrea Petagna header.
“It was a difficult game and we didn't play our usual brand of sharp football, as SPAL were very strong physically and had nothing to lose," said Mazzarri
“In the second half, despite being a man down, we continued to attack, but they were the ones who scored the goal. When it was 10 against 11, I probably shouldn't have introduced another striker, but gone for damage limitation instead.
“The lads gave everything they had. Just like last week with Verona, we were not lucky. Unfortunately, that's just how things are going at the moment."
