Torino coach Juric fumes after Lazio draw

Torino coach Ivan Juric was fuming after they allowed Lazio to grab a point on Thursday night.

The Granata had taken the lead through Marko Pjaca. But Koffi Djidji's clumsy challenge on Vedat Muriqi won a penalty for Lazio, which was converted by Ciro Immobile.

“We allowed Lazio practically nothing and dominated the game, but we were suckers at losing two points like that," Juric told Sky Italia.

“We can't give away that type of advantage, it would've been our third straight clean sheet, too. It was a very good performance, but I am angry about the result and we're still a long way off where we ought to be."

Juric added: “It's more of a psychological issue than a physical one. This is a positive group that is hungry and wants to make up for recent disappointing seasons.

“This is a squad that conceded 140 goals over two years and only secured Serie A safety in the final rounds. If I signed a three-year contract here, it's because I see potential that has not been expressed, but we are starting from a low point."
