Torino coach Ivan Juric admits Venezia deserved their point from Monday night's 1-1 draw.
Koffi Djidji was sent off for Toro as Venezia's Mattia Aramu cancelled out Josip Brekalo's opener from the penalty spot.
“The match was very tough," Juric told DAZN. “Venezia were behind and were trying to restart.
“We did well enough, but we could have done better. The penalty, it was the consequence of the mistakes made up to that moment.
“From the start of the season, we could have scored a few more points."
He added: “We are at the beginning of a path. We did many things well, but there were several players missing. Venezia deserved a point because we suffered."
