Torino are closing on a deal for Jack Rodwell.

The former England international is available from Blackburn Rovers and has fielded interest from Toro and Sassuolo.

Tuttosport says Toro are already well down the road in negotiations with Rodwell's minders.

The midfielder can move to Torino as a free agent and is eager to resume his career with Walter Mazzarri's Granata.

Rodwell is a former Everton, Manchester City and Sunderland player.
