Torino technical director Davide Vagnati has confirmed interest in Tottenham midfielder Gedson Fernandes.

The Portuguese midfielder is on-loan at Spurs from Benfica.

Asked about Gedson, Vagnati said, "The coach (Davide Nicola) was clear, he gave a precise message to the players: he wants to evaluate them, to understand what to do in the transfer market.

"We still have to play, we are evaluating some things and after tonight we'll evaluate with the coach."

Tottenham boss Jose Mourinho has confirmed he's prepared to lose Gedson this month.
