Tomas Rosicky has signed a new deal with Arsenal.

Arsenal have taken up an option to extend Tomas Rosicky's contract by a further year amid reports linking him with a move back to his first club, Sparta Prague, or to play in the MLS.

Wenger said: "Tomas Rosicky is part of our cohesion. He is top quality. In the second part of the season it is true that there was a lot of competition there but he likes the way we play, he likes the way we behave and he wants to be part of that.

"I am happy that he is here. He is in the position of [Mesut] Ozil, [Jack] Wilshere, [Aaron] Ramsey, [Alexis] Sanchez. There is big competition and he has suffered for that. But when he plays he is always top quality."
