Mexican winger Nestor Calderon remains a target for Sunderland boss Steve Bruce.
The Toluca midfielder confirmed last month that Bruce's Sunderland were keen to lure him to Europe in January.
And the News of the World says Calderon continues to be tracked by Sunderland leading up to the winter transfer window opening.
