Chelsea aim to close a deal for Juventus defender Daniele Rugani on Wednesday.
New Chelsea boss Maurizio Sarri is eager to sign Rugani after working with the stopper at Empoli.
Italian transfer expert Alfredo Pedulla has revealed Chelsea chief Marina Granovskaia spoke to Juve director of sport Fabio Paratici this week.
They discussed Rugani and Paratici made it clear the centre-back would only leave for €50m.
A formal offer is expected on Wednesday and once that deal is done, they will open talks about Rugani's Juve teammate Gonzalo Higuain.
