FC Barcelona have formally confirmed a new sponsorship agreement with Swiss watchmaker Maurice Lacroix, reportswww.sportspromedia.com/. The three-year deal sees the company become an official club sponsor of the reigning La Liga champions.
As part of the partnership Maurice Lacroix will create a special edition watch that will be sold at the company's stores and at Barca's official shops from the start of the next season.
Maurice Lacroix, which replaces Seiko as Barca's watch partner, will also have branding at the club's Camp Nou stadium, including on the fourth official's LED board, and a presence in VIP areas.
Financial terms of the agreement have not been released, although Sponsors.de estimated it to be worth 3 million (US$4.18 million) a year.
