Time is ticking on interested clubs wishing to trigger the buyout clause of RB Leipzig striker Timo Werner.
Sky Sports says his release clause of £49m expires on June 15 though and will make securing a deal more difficult.
Werner is keen on a switch to the Premier League with Liverpool the front runners, but they are not prepared to pay the fee given their current financial situation.
The 24-year-old is keen to join a team in the Champions League with Chelsea and Manchester United also making contact with the player.
Leipzig tied Werner down to a new deal last summer that runs until 2023, but the release clause allows for an early exit should it be activated.
