Fulham's on-loan Tottenham fullback Paul Stalteri admits time is running out to keep the club up.

The Canada captain said: "There's a lot of points still at stake but we need to start winning games now.

"The other teams around us all had easier games than we've had today and it's not just Birmingham and Reading we're chasing.

"There are a lot of other teams being sucked back into it.

"But unless we start winning, it doesn't matter what the other teams are doing because we'll still go down.

"We haven't played poorly in our last few games but we haven't won them. We can go on and on with the cliches but unless we win our next away game at Blackburn it's going to be very, very difficult for us."
