Tim Krul urges Norwich to embrace Premier League pressure

Tim Krul is one of the few players in the promoted Norwich City squad who has played in the Premier League previously, and he has been keen to offer his advice to his Canaries team mates.

The Canaries return to the top tier of English football following an absence of three years, and if their Championship form was anything to go by it could be a special time.

Speaking to the club's official website, Krul said: "It's such an exciting time for the Club. We have a great team and have some really good challenges coming up. We are going places at the moment and we've taken some great steps in the right direction.

"There's going to be big challenges because we are going into the best league there is. My biggest message to everyone is to take the opportunity with both hands and don't be fazed by big teams and big players. We have the talent to compete with them."

Krul's last stint in the Premier League came with Newcastle United, and he will be looking to justify his place in the top tier.

The 31-year-old continued: "It's the most exciting league in the world. I feel like I have unfinished business there and I'm just really excited to face these big teams again. We all cannot wait until June 13 when the fixtures are announced."
