Tianjin Quanjian attempted to sign two of the best strikers in Europe.

A report from the Evening Standard suggests that both Sergio Aguero and Pierre-Emerick Aubameyang were targets for the Chinese club.

The wealthy outfit attempted to sign Aubameyang in January, while he was still at Borussia Dortmund.

However, a deal was not agreed and he eventually joined Arsenal for a club-record sum.

And while Aguero did have a few doubts about his Manchester City future, it does not appear he was interested in a move to China.
