Thomas Partey is seeking a whopping contract to join Arsenal this summer.

The Atletico Madrid midfielder is Mikel Arteta's top transfer target.

However, the Gunners have been reluctant to trigger his €50m (£45m) release clause, and Atleti have knocked back offers for a swap deal.

Now the transfer has hit another hurdle as the Athletic claims the 27-year-old wants £200,000-a-week.

Alexandre Lacazette and Matteo Guendouzi have reportedly been offered as part of any swap deal for Partey.
