Thibaut Verlinden is delighted with his promotion at Stoke City.
The 19 year-old Belgian youth international has been promoted to senior training over the past couple of weeks to enhance his development.
And he told The Sentinel: "It's great to be part of it with all of the squad, but especially the players in my position. To train and play with them at such a young age is also fantastic for me.
"At the beginning I was scared to dribble and get one-on-one against my opponent, but then the players make you comfortable and you get more confident after that.
"They just tell me to be calm when I am training and to keep working hard not just when I am on the pitch or training field but at other times also.
"Xherdan and Marko have given me good advice for a too. They encourage me to put some good crosses in, beat your player and don't be afraid to have a go and attack."
