Chelsea defender Thiago Silva will decide his future in the summer.

The Brazilian centre-half is on a one year contract with the Blues.

Despite being 36, he still appears to have a lot to offer at the highest level.

And according to The Telegraph, Silva wants to extend his contract beyond the end of the season.

So long as he is still in the plans of German boss Thomas Tuchel, Silva is ready to commit to another year in London.

Tuchel is very familiar with Silva, with the pair working with each for two years at PSG.

Silva is currently sidelined with a thigh injury, which he sustained in Chelsea's win over Tottenham Hotspur last week.
