Thiago Motta is in advanced talks with Spezia.
Motta had a spell in charge of Genoa and is now in line to replace Vincenzo Italiano at Spezia.
Motta, who started as a coach with the Paris Saint-Germain U19 team, only lasted 10 games with the Rossoblu in Serie A
Sky Italia says Spezia aim to appoint Motta on Monday.
