Manchester United midfielder Morgan Schneiderlin has revealed that a lot of screaming and shouting took place in the United dressing room during half-time of the 1-0 win over Liverpool at Anfield.
United were outplayed by the Reds in the first half but came out a much better side the second lot of 45 minutes following a heart-to-heart between the playing group.
Schneiderlin confirmed: "In the first half we didn't win enough second balls. Sometimes we won the first ball but not the second.
"When we came into the dressing room after the first half there was some screaming and shouting, but of course that is normal because in a derby you cannot lose the battle."
United won the derby thanks to a 78th-minute strike from Wayne Rooney, allowing the to move six points clear of their historic rivals.
