Tottenham Hotspur defender Toby Alderweireld has compared Mauricio Pochettino and Diego Simeone.

Alderweireld has played under arguably two of the most impressive young managers in world football today in Atletico Madrid's Simeone and Spurs boss Pochettino.

The two Argentine managers are clearly different in terms of how their teams play but Alderweireld has explained that the duo are similar in the sense that they both born winners.

"They both like to have a team that works very hard. And they work us very hard," he said ahead of Tottenham's Champions League clash with CSKA Moscow on Tuesday night.

"The pressing is similar as well. There are differences.

"Pochettino likes to play from the back, with the buildup, have the ball. But they are both winners.

"They want to win everything. They want to win every game."
