The father of Gonzalo Higuain insists he's still wanted by Juventus.

It's been suggested Juve would be willing to hand the 32 year-old striker a free transfer this summer.

But Dad Jorge says, "It's almost impossible that Higuain will play for River Plate next year.

“That Juventus no longer wants him is false.

“Juventus still want him and he has no intentions of terminating the contract. I think it will expire and then later, if possible, he could come to River, or play anywhere else."
