The day Mourinho welcomed Russia's best coaches to Chelsea: What can I teach you?

Former Anzhi sports director Aivaz Kaziakhmedov has recalled taking a coaching group to Chelsea.

Jose Mourinho opened Cobham's doors to the group, which included former Russia coach Leonid Slutsky.

Kaziakhmedov told Sport-Express: "I led the trip of a group of coaches who went to see him at Chelsea. Sergei Kapkov organised the meeting. Slutsky was there, Gadzhiev, Berdyev, Shevchuk ...

"He met us in flip-flops or sneakers - I don't remember. Greeted us quite politely. And then he added: 'I don't know what I can teach you'. He himself had studied from the books of Soviet coaches.

"Mourinho said this: 'You have a great coaching school! What can I teach you?!'

"We had separate meetings with assistants - for example, Mourinho's assistant, who is responsible for the electronic control system for football players during the match, spoke. Right at the Chelsea base, we were shown this whole system. We looked at the training session that Mourinho was conducting. No secrets!

"Three fields were changed in one training session. They work for half an hour - they switch to another!

"Topreserve the quality of the grass."

He also said: "A little further away is the academy, the older ones are training. Next to the main staff, so that there is communication. Here are some rooms for young people. I walked around, looked into the parking lot. In one place is written manager. I ask: 'Is this for the CEO?' 'No,' they answer. 'This is Hiddink's place'."
