Tevez the latest as Man City boss Mancini battling to win over senior players

Manchester City boss Roberto Mancini faces a battle to win over the dressing room following Mark Hughes' dismissal.

The Telegraph says Mancini's first task now will be to try and get Craig Bellamy to stay with the club.

Bellamy arrived at Eastlands in January in a £14 million deal from West Ham United and has been one of Hughes' most successful signings.

The pair have a strong relationship having previously worked together at Blackburn Rovers and Wales.

Bellamy is not the only City player disillusioned by events, with Shay Given and midfielder Gareth Barry also understood to be particularly angry.

There have been suggestions that striker Carlos Tévez - another who greatly admired Hughes - may also want to leave but, at present, that is believed not to be the case.
