Terry congratulates Man Utd captain Maguire - and taunts Keane

Chelsea legend John Terry has congratulated Manchester United captain Harry Maguire on a landmark England goal - while also taking aim at pundit Roy Keane.

Terry took to social media to highlight Maguire overtaking him as England's highest-scoring centre-back.

The United captain scored England's opening goal in their 10-0 win over San Marino on Monday to surpass Terry's record of six international goals.

Terry also took the opportunity to shutdown Maguire's biggest critic, Roy Keane.

When congratulating Maguire on Twitter for surpassing his record on Monday evening, Terry wrote: "Congratulations mate. England's highest goal-scoring defender. Let's see if a few of these pundits talk about that."
