Barcelona goalkeeper Marc-André ter Stegen has confirmed new contract talks are underway.

Ter Stegen's current deal runs to 2022 and Barca are said to be willing to offer a new agreement to 2024.

The Germany international stated: "I have two years left on my contract, my family and I are very well here, we are at home.

"My intention is to continue, our philosophy and our idea of football go very well together. There are currently discussions, but there is no haste on my part. I stay focused on my work, we have very complicated weeks ahead and we want to win.

"I leave all the negotiations of my contract in the hands of my agent, it is he who is dedicated to this task and he informs me of everything."
