Incoming Manchester United boss Erik ten Hag is set to offer a reprieve to Donny van de Beek.
The Dutch midfielder has been on the periphery at United since signing at the start of last season.
He was used sparingly by Ole Gunnar Solskjaer and Ralf Rangnick, before departing on loan to Everton in January, where he has rarely played.
According to The Telegraph, ten Hag admires van de Beek from their time together at Ajax.
He will give the creative star another chance to show his worth in the Premier League next season.
With United set to lose Paul Pogba, van de Beek may find more opportunities for first team action under ten Hag.
