Ten Hag leaves door open to Greenwood Man Utd return

Manchester United boss Erik ten Hag has left the door open to working with Mason Greenwood next season.

Greenwood had rape and assault charges dropped in February and has remained suspended by the football club since January 2022.

Speaking with The Times, Ten Hag was asked about Greenwood's situation.

"[He] showed in the past that he is capable of doing that [scoring goals for United]," he replied.

Ten Hag emphasised that any decision on the forward's future at the club was not going to be made by him.

United have been conducting their own review of the situation while telling Greenwood to stay away from the club. He has held talks with Ten Hag and coaching staff, while also is mixing wth United teammates as he considers his playing future.
