Sydney FC have agreed a partnership with Telstra, reports, www.sportspromedia.com/. The company will become the official statistics and telecommunications partner of the A-League side, helping the club provide information from each game to players and supporters. Striker Bernie Ibini will also be a brand ambassador for Telstra.

Tony Pignata, the Sydney FC chief executive, said: "We have a strong digital presence in the online and telecommunications arena and we are hopeful this partnership will be of great benefit to everyone, including our members."
