Manchester United prodigy Teden Mengi is getting a new shirt number.
The young defender has impressed manager Ole Gunnar Solskjaer enough to train with the first team.
He was involved in their weekend friendly against Aston Villa as well.
Per the Manchester Evening News, Mengi will wear the no.43 shirt on his back if he gets gametime in the Premier League, Champions League or other cup competitions this season.
Mengi is the club's under-21 captain, and the 18-year-old has been praised for his on-field quality and leadership abilities.
The last time Mengi played for United in the Europa League, he had the no.71 shirt.
