LaLiga president Javier Tebas insists they can survive Lionel Messi leaving Barcelona.

Off contract in June, Messi is a confirmed target for Manchester City and PSG.

Tebas told Futbol Jobs: "It's better that Sergio Ramos or Leo Messi are in the Spanish league, just as I would like us to have Mourinho, Klopp or Guardiola as coaches. But the competition and their clubs are the most important.

"Neymar is also gone and it has not decreased, nor do I see that the French championship has become the best in the world.

"Messi's contract? This is not the problem with Barca's economic crisis. Without the pandemic, Barça could perfectly pay for Messi's contract. In my opinion, he is well paid."
