Newcastle defender Steven Taylor insists he is only concentrating on getting back to fitness, and is ignoring speculation over his transfer listed status. The 24-year-old central defender is out of contract at the end of the season, and at the moment he would be free to open talks with any potential new employers in January.
Now Manchester City are being strongly linked with a move for Taylor, who is sidelined with a shoulder injury he picked up in pre-season.
"All I am doing is concentrating on getting myself fit and making myself available for selection," Taylor told The People.
