Juventus hero Marco Tardelli feels Max Allegri's team have shown they will compete for the Scudetto this season.

Tardelli was impressed by Juve for Saturday's victory over Lazio.

The World Cup winner told TuttoJuve: "It's a Juve that is doing well, they have changed gear with (Dusan) Vlahovic and (Fede) Chiesa, who were injured last year but are now playing better.

"This is a slightly more serene year for Juventus, also because not having the cups they could try to challenge Inter for the Scudetto.

"But before the break for the national team the Scudetto was given to either Milan or Inter, there was no mention of Juventus. In a week everything changes. This year Juve is better both physically and mentally, but also with the important players they have."
