Former Olympique Marseille owner Bernard Tapie has warned against PSG hiring Arsene Wenger.

Close to PSG president Nasser Al-Khelaifi, former Arsenal boss Arsene Wenger has been linked with the sports director's post at the Parisians.

However, Tapie believes the profile of Wenger would do coach Thomas Tuchel no favours.

He explained, "He would bring nothing at all.

"The coach is good. If the sports director cannot get along with him, you take another, but less a 'star'. In a club, beware of the addition of stars for such positions."
