Kilmarnock are set to lose Mehdi Taouil for free as his deal to Heart of Midlothian is expected to be completed today.
The 28-year old French-born Moroccan joined Killie back in 2007 but will now depart to sign a three-year deal with Hearts, reuniting with manager Jim Jefferies and former Rugby Park teammates Jamie Hamill and Kevin Kyle.
Taouil was keen to again link up with Jefferies, who brought him to Scotland from French club Montpellier, and the opportunity Hearts had to sign him for free was far too good to deny.
