Tammy Abraham happy over first six months with Roma

Tammy Abraham is happy with his first six months with Roma.

The striker joined Roma last summer from Chelsea.

After the Coppa Italia win against Lecce, Abraham told Sky Italia: "We went into the game badly, Lecce are a good team and the coach told us so. Zaniolo, Miki and Vina they changed the game by entering the second half."

Abraham has 15 goals so far this season and the striker continued: "My goal is to help the team and when I do I am happy.

"With Zaniolo it is easier to play, he understands me and distracts the opposing defenders because he works hard and opens up spaces for me. I can play in all the roles the coach asks of me."

Asked about the initial conversation with Roma coach Jose Mourinho, Abraham added: "The first thing he said to me was: would you rather stay there in the rain, or come here where the sun is?"
