Tammy Abraham declares love for Rome and Roma fans

Tammy Abraham says he's happily settled at AS Roma.

The former Chelsea striker is in his second season with the Giallorossi.

He told Swm Exclusive: “It was an interesting experience and certainly different from life in England. Of course, I had to adapt quickly and sometimes I miss hearing the English language. It's nice to embrace a different culture, enjoy a new way of life and learn the language.

"I should probably know a little more Italian, but it's going well. To be honest, the lifestyle out here surprised me. I've always known Italians love their food and how passionate they are, but when you're here, you realize it's on a different level. You can go to any restaurant in the city and they will serve the best food you have ever tasted.

"They take care and time in everything they do, which is one thing I've come to love about Rome and the people here.

"The fans and people at the club made me feel at home from day one. I should have landed at a private airport but there were so many fans there… they were chanting my name and were so happy to see me.

"Since that moment I knew that this was the right place for me. They are so passionate and want their team to do well, so they support you even if sometimes you don't do well. But I think they can see how passionate he is on the pitch: I think they are fall in love with my hunger and desire to win."
